Who makes the games? Stakelogic, from Eindhoven to Malta
Who actually makes the games that sit in a casino lobby? This page previously carried an "exclusive interview" with the head of Stakelogic, complete with quotes in quotation marks. That conversation never took place: the text was assembled by us and the quotes were invented. We have removed them. What follows is what is publicly on record about this studio — and why that is worth more to a player than an anecdote.
Stakelogic in four facts
The studio is based in Eindhoven and was set up inside the Novomatic group: Greentube founded it in early 2015 and sold it to a financial investor in 2018. In June 2021 a second arm appeared, Stakelogic Live, with roulette, blackjack and game shows from its own studios; in March 2022 that division received a licence from the Malta Gaming Authority. The studios are in Birkirkara, Malta, and in Eindhoven.

What a studio licence does and does not tell you
This is where the old text was most wrong: it said the studio received a "Dutch licence" in 2022. That is not how it works. The Kansspelautoriteit licenses operators — the casino where you open an account. A game supplier delivers its games to those licence holders and has to meet the technical requirements and testing, but it does not hold an operator licence itself. For a player that means: the studio name under a game tells you where the game came from, and the casino’s licence tells you who is responsible for your money.
What you can check yourself before playing
More is public about a game than about an operator. The information screen of any slot carries its return to player (RTP) and its volatility; the studio’s own corporate site lists which titles it releases and which markets it supplies. Two things are worth checking. One: the same slot can run in several RTP versions at different casinos, so the number inside the game is the one that counts, not a number from a list. Two: a studio name in a promotion is not proof that the game actually runs there — that only shows in the lobby.
Why we do not invent interviews
An invented quote is not colourful filler; it is a statement someone never made, attributed to a real person. That is the kind of error a reader cannot check and the person quoted cannot rebut. If a real conversation ever happens, it will say when it took place and who was in it; until then this page carries what is publicly on record.
